We’re Reopening
Hear about how we’re staying safe
Dear Patients,
We sincerely hope this letter finds you healthy and well. Our families have stayed healthy and have made the best of our extended “Spring Break”. We look forward to opening and serving our patients.
Like the rest of the world, we have made changes to adapt to our new normal; we have included our complete list below. Please take the time to read so you can be rest assured we have taken all precautions to keep our team and patients healthy.
We have chosen to make some significant changes in our office procedures, in order to protect our patients and our team because of the nature of our appointments. Most of our cleaning and treatment appointments produce aerosols and our goal is to minimize or eliminate the aerosol we produce. Due to the substantial cost and increase in personal protective equipment, we will be charging a nominal $10 to each visit. We encourage you to schedule your treatment and cleaning visits together to avoid multiple fees.
Lake Pointe Dental Group is committed to adapting and making it safe to visit the dentist.
- Our team is equipped with Face Shields or glasses, gowns, masks, and gloves for protection.
- We are asking patients to reschedule their appointments if they are ill, have flu-like symptoms or have been exposed to someone with a positive Covid 19 test, severe cough or cold.
- Temperatures will be taken at the front desk with a no-touch thermometer; hand sanitizer is available for all patients.
- Patients will be asked to call the office at (618)628-7080 when they arrive to check-in, you will be called back individually to avoid patients sitting in the waiting area.
- Our office will be limiting the number of patients in the office at any one given time.
- We ask patients to wear a mask or face covering on entry to the waiting area.
- Our appointments will be spaced out to allow ample to time to clean rooms and all equipment.
- To protect our front desk staff and observe social distancing, we will be collecting full treatment amount or copay a minimum of 1 day before your appointment. Your receipt will be given to you at your appointment.
We feel confident in our aggressive approach on how to properly care for our patients and our team. We want to keep us all healthy.
