Our Services
Family Dentistry
Patients of all ages can visit our office for routine dental cleanings and procedures. Our dentists are experienced working with the oral health of children, teenagers, adults, and those in their golden years. By visiting our family dentistry practice, you won’t have to switch offices as you transition into the next stage of life. It’s crucial to maintain regular dental visits every six months to help catch any decay or gum disease before it becomes severe, and to ensure teeth are developing properly.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Procedures such as teeth whitening, fillings, veneers, and implants focus on the appearance of your mouth, teeth, gums, and overall smile. Cosmetic dentistry is becoming increasingly popular, and helps boost your confidence. When you visit Lake Pointe Dental Group for your cosmetic dentistry needs, you’ll receive the highest quality treatment, whether it requires a minor fix or major surgery.
Teeth Whitening
If you’re dissatisfied with the color of your teeth or don’t wish to use over-the-counter whitening strips and kits, look no further than professional teeth whitening. Our dentists will coat the front surfaces of your teeth with a whitening solution, then apply intervals of light for optimum results in a short amount of time.
Veneers
Also commonly called porcelain laminates or porcelain veneers, dental veneers are a cosmetic dental procedure where custom fabricated pieces of porcelain, or “shells,” are bonded to your natural teeth. If you believe your teeth are worn, chipped, discolored, misaligned, or have significant gaps, veneers can improve their appearance and your confidence.
Emergency Care
Not all oral health issues can wait for the next available appointment. That’s why we offer immediate treatment options for those who need quick relief. In some cases, we’re able to schedule your emergency care appointment the same day. Whether a couple teeth have been knocked out or a crown has been lost, you can trust our dentists to quickly diagnose and determine the best treatment.
Dental Implants
Dental implant placement is a common procedure that provides significant relief. A small post, typically made of titanium, serves as the root of the tooth. Then, a connector known as the abutment is either placed on or built into the top of the implant, thus attaching it to the replacement tooth. Finally, a crown is custom-made to match the look of your natural teeth, completing the implant.
Complete Dentures and Partial Dentures
We offer both complete and partial dentures at Lake Pointe Dental. Complete dentures, also known as traditional and full dentures, are recommended when a patient has lost all of their teeth, whether they be located in the top or bottom jawbone. Removable partial dentures, on the other hand, can help patients who have only lost a few teeth.
Fixed Bridges and Crowns
If you have one or more missing teeth, our dentists may recommend a fixed bridge. Two or more crowns and artificial filler teeth are connected to fill the gaps caused by the missing structures. The crowns, or caps, can be made of metal, porcelain fused to metal, or ceramics, to match your natural teeth.
Root Canal Therapy
When a patient needs a root canal, it’s likely they are experiencing pain from an inflamed or infected pulp located within the root of their tooth. The root canal therapy treatment is designed to alleviate the pain by eliminating the pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the tooth’s interior, and filling the space. It allows the tooth to regain its health and prevent further infections. At Lake Pointe Dental, it’s our goal to ensure each patient remains comfortable. Root canals are a common procedure, and we strive to relieve any amount of discomfort you may experience.
Snoring and Sleep Apnea Devices
Habitual snoring can cause you to have difficulty sleeping and puts you at risk for sleep apnea, which describes inconsistent breathing patterns. Although the CPAP machine is the most common device used by those with sleep apnea, it is large, noisy, and requires many different parts. At Lake Pointe Dental, we provide a different kind of snoring and sleep apnea device: the TAP 3 oral machine. It eases symptoms quietly and comfortably while staying portable.
Tooth Extractions and Oral Surgery
Certain situations such as crowding, trauma, decay, or disease may require tooth extractions and oral surgery. Simple extractions are performed on those who have not suffered trauma or don’t have decay beneath the gum line, while surgical extractions are recommended when a tooth is impacted, has curved roots, or is broken under the gum line. Our dentists are experienced in both kinds of tooth removal, and will ensure you remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
Appointments
Please contact our office during business hours to make an appointment, either by sending us an email or by calling 618-360-2044. We strive to address dental emergencies as soon as we possibly can, both from current patients and new patients.

We can also verify your coverage before your first appointment if you provide us with your insurance information. Since we are focused on the highest quality care, we do not participate in dental insurance plans that limit the quality of care that you can receive.
